What is Gulf Commercial Insights?
One company, three names: the brand, its monogram and its web address, explained in plain terms.
Gulf Commercial Insights, GCI and gulfcapitalintelligence.com
Gulf Commercial Insights is the brand. GCI is its monogram and short name. The website lives at gulfcapitalintelligence.com, an address that keeps the firm's earlier name, Gulf Capital Intelligence, which some of our social profiles also still carry. All three names point to one company: Boost My Business AI Innovation Limited, registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre under DIFC Licence CL11954, with its office at the DIFC Innovation Hub in Dubai. The firm was co-founded by Hemant Agrawal and Gaurav Agarwal. It produces commercial diligence intelligence for capital allocators evaluating UAE and GCC opportunities, and it is not investment advice.
Public research, free to read
Everything below is public and dated. Each research report carries one of five public labels: ATTRACTIVE, SELECTIVE, NEUTRAL, UNATTRACTIVE or AVOID.
- Published research library: sector and thesis reports, newest first, each with its public label, evidence-tagged figures and a required diligence checklist. Every English report has an Arabic twin.
- Investment opportunity guides: our published views grouped by market, for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
- Insights: guides and framework essays on ownership rules, structuring, tax and due diligence across the Gulf.
- GCC Intelligence: daily market briefs on UAE, Saudi and wider Gulf capital flows.
- Verdict Ledger: the public, dated record of our screenings on the five-label scale.
- Methodology and Verdicts: how a report is built and what each label means.
Private work on a named opportunity
Clients are family offices, private equity and venture funds, deal teams and strategic investors. They commission three kinds of report: a single-deal screen on a named opportunity, strategic intelligence at sector, country or thesis level, and a capital allocation comparison of deployment scenarios the client defines. A report on a named opportunity carries a private client verdict, given only inside the client's own report. It is never published. Engagements are custom and priced to the mandate.
Clear boundaries
- GCI is not regulated investment advice, and it is not a DFSA-regulated financial services firm.
- GCI is not a financial model, and it is not legal or tax counsel. Regulatory and tax positions need verification with qualified UAE advisors before any capital commitment.
- GCI tells you what to investigate. It does not tell you what to buy.
- GCI does not publish verdicts on client deals. Public labels read a sector or thesis only.
- GCI is not a substitute for full due diligence. It is the structured first-pass screen that tells you whether a deal deserves deeper work.

Looking at a specific opportunity?
Published labels read a whole sector. A commissioned report reads your deal: the named asset, the counterparty, the structure and the terms.
Gulf Commercial Insights publishes commercial diligence intelligence, not investment advice. Labels describe a sector or thesis, not a specific deal, and all return figures in GCI reports are directional estimates. Regulatory and tax positions need verification with qualified advisors before any capital commitment.
